2014 Calendar Round-up

NB: If you are looking for my nail polish posts, I've moved them over to a new blog. Come and visit me at swatcherpolishranger.blogspot.ca. <3

Eeek! How did I forget to write this post? Luckily, it's only mid-January so not too late to buy a calendar for the year. Even though I keep track of my appointments in my Google calendar I still like to have a gorgeous printed calendar to hang on the wall in my kitchen. Hopefully, of the 21 calendars I've selected, something catches your eye. :)

My favourites are the FREE printable calendar from the Observant Nomad, Secret Garden calendar from Rifle Paper Co., Pride & Prejudice quotes from 10cameliaway, and Jaunty Animals from hellosmallworld.

Which one is your favourite?

2013 Calendar Round-Up

Can you believe that it's almost Christmas?! I honestly don't know where this year went but, frankly, I'll be glad to ring in the new year.

As usual, I have gathered a selection of calendars that will pretty up your wall for all of 2013.

Here are a few of my favourites:

 | Jonathan Adler can make anyone smile. |

 | Love the food photography from whimsyandspice |

| Such a pretty addition to your home from Mipiacekatedesign |

| Clever take on the zodiac from bialakura |

| This cute Star Wars calendar from loopzart would be a great addition to any office |

| And finally, the winner of my affections, is the Cities calendar from Rifle Paper Co. |

Which one is your favourite? Do you buy the same calendar every year (like my step-dad with his Dilbert desk calendar) or a different one?

2012 calendar round-up

It's that time of year again! Your December is full of Christmas parties, cookie exchanges, and family dinners and friends are already sending you invitations for January. Time to find somewhere to collect all of these dates. Enter the 2012 calendar.

Last year I featured a calendar a day but I decided to do things a little different this year. I explored pages and pages of results on Etsy and pinned my favourites to my "calendars" board on Pinterest.

The focus this year is on poster calendars; that is, the year at a glance all on one page. There are some really great options out there and these are just a few that caught my eye. To see all 39 calendars, click through to Pinterest.

I missed finishing off the month yesterday because of a variety of factors, so here is a round-up of some of the calendars I didn't get a chance to feature. Happy shopping!

Calendar : JHill Design

Because, with this crazy winter cold snap, I'd rather be anywhere but here.

Calendar : Capilano University

When I lived in Vancouver I always purchased the new calendar put out by Capilano University's IDEA (Illustration/Design; Elements & Applications) program every year. I loved the paintings and the Vancouver imagry and I liked supporting talented student artists.  Funny thing is, I had completely forgotten about the Reflections Vancouver calendars until Emma reminded me of them. So with that reminder how could I not include it in my calendar month?

Available for purchase from Reflections Vancouver.

Calendar : Michelle Smith

Because, with the winter weather this week, all I've wanted to do is curl up at home with my family.

Available for purchase (in several different colours) from Michelle Smith.

Calendar : 1canoe2

M. and I went away for the weekend and I forgot to schedule posts so there goes NaBloPoMo. Oh well, we had a great time in Winnipeg visiting with Emma and her family and meeting blog friend Kyla for the first time (who, by the way, is totally lovely).

I have some great stuff planned for this week - photos from the antique market at The Forks and a spotlight on Calgary interior designer LeAnne Bunnell - so check back throughout the week.

Today's calendar is in honour of my visit to Winnipeg, friends old and new, and my own Prairie history. Happy Monday!

Available for purchase from 1canoe2.

The images in this calendar are so sweet (it's like the adult version of those little kids kissing calendars) and the proceeds go to a great cause!
